Why I do what I do
I started this journey coming from a place of not knowing what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I finished college with a Bachelors in Fine Arts with a minor in Psychology. What do you do with that you ask? Well, I had two choices. 1. Go on to get a Masters degree of some kind or 2. get a job. To be perfectly honest with you, after 5 years of college I was done! So, get a job it was. I have always enjoyed retail, so that was where I started. Fast forward some years, I am working in retail for an amazing skin and body care company and loving it! I was exposed to so many amazing things in this company that it made me think I should do something more. This was where that fated massage came in that I mentioned at the beginning of my site. My mind expanded to all the different options available. Also after working so closely with guests doing make-up, hand treatments, and chair treatments, I thought this is something I could do. To be quite honest I had a few guests ask where they could come and get a full treatment from me. I took that as a sign as well. So fast forward to the present day, after almost 10 years in the biz. I have finally decided, again, to go into my own massage and bodywork practice.
My father has always told us that you should never just go to a job everyday. Find something that you love for your career and you will never feel like you work a day in your life. I hope that the passion I have for this work is felt in the experience you receive and that you will share that gift with others.

When I am not in the office
I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing and supportive group of people. The best days to me are either hanging out with my family and friends catching up. Or, sometimes my husband, myself, and the dog just hop in the car for a drive. We never know where we are heading or where we will end up, but sometimes that is half the fun!
